Known for his relentless energy and physical style, Jeannot is quickly carving out a reputation as one of the Bruins’ most exciting young talents. Since joining the team, he has captured attention not just with his scoring but with his work ethic and intensity on the ice. This blog post dives deep into Tanner Jeannot’s journey, his impact on the Bruins, and what makes him a rising star to watch.
A Journey Fueled by Hard Work
Tanner Jeannot’s path to the NHL wasn’t instant stardom. Born in Estevan, Saskatchewan, his hockey career began in the grassroots levels typical of Canadian players. Unlike some players who get picked early in the NHL Draft, Jeannot went undrafted. But that fact hasn’t slowed him down one bit.
Jeannot’s story is one of perseverance. After playing for the Moose Jaw Warriors in the Western Hockey League (WHL), where he showed early promise with his aggressive play, he earned a deal with the Nashville Predators in 2017. His time in Nashville allowed him to sharpen his skills and prove he could compete at the highest level.
What stands out about Jeannot is not just his scoring but his physical presence. Standing at 6 feet 1 inch and weighing around 210 pounds, he combines size with speed. His relentless forechecking, willingness to fight for puck possession, and ability to drive to the net have made him an asset on any team he joins.

Right from the start, Jeannot impressed Bruins fans and management alike. He immediately showcased his ability to generate scoring chances by crashing the net and contributing timely goals. More than just a goal scorer, his willingness to backcheck and engage in physical battles has added a new dimension to Boston’s forward group.
